The final piece in the Kia Seltos puzzle is to be revealed soon and we are hearing that the much-anticipated car would have a killer price-tag. Kia Motors is leaving no stone unturned and wants to grab market share from the word go. The Seltos has already racked up an unbelievable number of bookings for what is, basically, an upmarket, mid-size SUV.
Kia has plans for an aggressive introductory price to get a leg up on its rivals. Thus, expect a price between just und Rs 10 lakh (starting) to Rs 17 lakh (for the top-end). This would be a gamechanging price range, given the quality and range of equipment that the Seltos offers. Its rivals, such as the Creta, start just above Rs 10 lakh while the Hector starts at above Rs 12 lakh. Kia will also offer the most number of variants and engines ever seen on a car. So, you would get to choose from three automatic gearbox options and one manual, across 13 colours of which five would be dual-tone.
There would also be two trims and a lot of combinations for every price point. It really seems Kia means business and wants to succeed at any cost. What are your price expectations for the Seltos?
