Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone Redmi K20 & K20 Pro on July 17th in India. Today the company announced an “Alpha Sale” for the upcoming K20 series smartphone. This Alpha Sale will allow prospective buyers to reserve the unit prior to the launch event. This Alpha Sale will go live on Flipkart and Mi.com starting 12 noon on the 12th of July. The users will have to pay Rs 855 to pre-book this smartphone. The users who did not avail the pre-book will be refunded on Mi.com or Flipkart account.
The Redmi K20 Pro smartphone is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 855 SOC with up to 8 GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 Internal Storage. On the other hand, The standard variant of K20 is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 730 SOC with 6GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 Internal Storage.
In terms of camera, Redmi K20 and K20 Pro have a triple rear camera setup of 48MP Sony IMX586 with f/1.75 aperture, 13MP Ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 8MP Telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. It has a 20MP pop-up selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera has a sapphire lens cover and it can rise in just 0.8 seconds.
The back of both the smartphone has a flame-like unique pattern. To keep things powered up, Redmi K20 & K20 Pro comes with a massive 4000mAh of battery. The K20 supports 18W fast charging while the Pro variant of K20 supports 27W fast charging. Both the smartphone also comes equipped with Game Turbo 2.0 for better gaming experience and Optical In-Display Fingerprint sensor.
