Xiaomi to Launch Redmi K20 in India

As per a recent teaser video, the Redmi K20 phone will feature a pop-up selfie camera design – similar to OnePlus 7 Pro and a bunch of other elevating camera smartphones.

Evidently, this design will allow for an edge-to-edge screen with no obtrusive punch holes or notches. Moreover, rumors suggest that the phone will offer a 6.39-inch display with a full-HD+ resolution.

Interestingly, Redmi’s general manager Lu Weibing has recently teased some of the key features of the Redmi K20.

The screenshot shared by Lu confirmed that the phone will sport an in-display fingerprint battery and that it will offer upto two days of battery life on a single charge. Reportedly, the K20 will house a 4,000mAh battery with software-based optimizations for extended battery life.

Redmi K20 tipped to offer a 48MP triple-lens rear camera

Other Specifications

The upcoming Redmi flagship is already confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 855 chipset.

Moreover, rumors also point towards 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage on the Redmi K20. A separate leak has also claimed that Redmi will launch a Pro model of the phone, and we expect it to come with higher RAM and storage capacity.
