The company says the camera gives users the ability to choose the focus point after a shot is taken, and thanks to “hardware-level depth of field processing” the RedMi Pro will be able to add effects like blurred backgrounds natively. The RedMi Pro is also the first Xiaomi smartphone display to use an OLED display. For a device that comes in under $300, the RedMi Pro is pretty stacked:
The RedMi Pro will be available in gray, black, and gold on August 6th in China. Prices start at $224 for the 32GB + 3GB of RAM version, $254 for the 64GB + 3GB of RAM option, and $299 for the 128GB + 4GB of RAM model on Xiaomi’s website and in its stores.
